Saving the victims from lawless elements

On or about 171650H July 2008 PNP team this station lead by PI ROLANDO RETUYA HINOCTAN, Officer In-Charge responded the reported robbery with hostage drama near the public market situated at Brgy. Baybay, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. Wherein old victims (couple) namely Mrs. Remedios Te , sixty (60) years of age, businesswoman and Mr. Kinsin Te , seventy (70) years of age ,businessman both residents of Brgy. Baybay were robbed and held as hostage by one Richie Mojares, married and resident of Brgy. Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City presently residing at Brgy. Baybay this municipality with his Aunt Constancia Baylosis . The PNP team tried to negotiate with the perpetrator for him to peacefully surrender but the latter insisted for his evil plan , slash the hands of the female victim as well as her neck and further attempted to kill the male victim by slashing the neck of the latter using a sharp knife. The responding team immediately shoot directly the perpetrator . Both victims and the suspect were immediately brought to Liloy District Hospital for immediate treatment but the attending physician declared the suspect dead on arrival .While the victims were saved and undergone further treatment.
